Residencies
For the past 15 years, a small number of around three individuals per year have been able to spend quality time at Windgrove as Windgrove Residents
Whether studio artists, writers, musicians, social or environmental activists, the unique opportunity to have a fairly undisturbed one week to two month period of reflective research has benefited many.
In exchange for two hours daily work in the veggie garden or elsewhere, as well as helping prepare the shared evening meal, the Windgrove Resident gets room and board with no obligation to “produce” anything at the end of their stay other than to leave feeling inspired.
Workshops
In keeping with the motto “Windgrove: A Refuge for Learning”, Windgrove as a venue for residential workshops is an excellent choice for groups of ten to twenty participants.
Past workshops have centred around Buddhist meditation, deep-ecology, eco-feminist leadership training, designing-in-nature, dance, Women’s Retreats, and, as corporate/staff annual gatherings.
The kitchen is of a semi-commercial grade. Sleeping indoors can be provided for ten people. Numerous tent sites are also available.
